Pre-wedding shoot

From researching numerous wedding photographers, pre-wedding shoots seem to be more commonly the 'norm' for bride and grooms to-be. They seem to be offered as part of a 'wedding package' at the location of your choice as a way for the bride and groom to get to know their chosen photographer and sample their work prior to the big day.

I wanted to have our shoot somewhere relatively local. I wasn't concerned about the place we chose being of importance to us as a couple but somewhere with nice scenery and surroundings. After researching (as you have probably presumed by now, I did ALOT of research prior to the day!) and talking to my photographer, I came across the most beautiful place, not far from where we live called Ashton Memorial at Williamson Park in Lancaster. Ashton memorial is a beautiful building set in the grounds of a scenic park open to the public. We were very lucky as the sun shone down for the entire day, making the shoot that bit more enjoyable and relaxed and the photos turned out just how I had hoped and more!
